1 glass of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo wine
1 glass of sugar
2/3 of a glass of extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon of baking powder
flour as much as needed
sugar for dusting.
Heat oven to 180° C. Line a baking tray with the parchment paper. Put the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo wine, extra virgin olive oil, sugar and baking powder in a bowl. Using a spoon mix the ingredients together while adding flour a little at a time, to produce a soft dough enough pliable to use your hands.
Take a little bit of dough and roll that with both hands until you have a rope about the thickness of your little finger and about 12 cm long. Now you can create a circle joining together the two ends of the rope. Drop the ring of dough onto a plate covered with sugar and then place it on the baking tray on the side without sugar. Bake for 15 minutes.
