The olive oil mayonnaise has a stronger flavor than the mayonnaise we can pick up at the grocery store but it has one advantage. Homemade mayonnaise is made with fresh and healthy ingredients, so we can eat it more often. INGREDIENTS for about 200ml
1 organic whole egg
1 organic egg yolk
150 ml of extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 pinch of salt.
Put all ingredients in a deep bowl. Put your immersion blender in the bowl and turn it on. The mayonnaise will start to form after a few seconds. Move the blender up and down until all ingredients are blended and the mayonnaise is firm. These steps will take you about one minute.
